Arwyn

<<<  Index  >>>

Arwyn of Gerrindor, married with Darian. They had one daughter Neera. They  were human, but not every living thing on the planet Quin was.  Arwyn was a trained markswoman who was always accompanied by her pet, a big, black wolf like dog named Kreeg.
In the years that the evil warlord Mordath and his army of trolls overran and concurred the five lands for the second time (see bottom of this page) Arwyn and her family lived in the city Gerrindor on the northern border. She didn't really wanted to get involved in the battle and she hurried home when the attacks on Gerrindor began. But when she arrived at her burning house her husband and daughter were slaughtered. Arwyn then swore to kill Mordath. Her house was burnt down as was whole Gerrindor. All she had left was the bow she had with her and her dog Kreeg. With that she went to Mordath's castle in Myddelyn.
After heavy fights and narrow escapes she meets the mysterious woman Neven who gives her the legendary bow of Ayden and bestows upon her the quest of finding the five lost pieces of Yyden's Arrow. Because with that arrow they can summon Ayden himself and only Ayden is believed to be able to kill Mordath a second time.
Arwyn is very skillful with her new bow, is clever and honest but she never would have been able to bring this task to an end alone. On her journeys filled with death and destruction she's more than once rescued and aided by men and women. Her journey hasn't come to an end yet but so far she had three near death escapes and three times she was rescued by a woman. The first time she and Gareth the one-eyed archer were driven into a corner on a fiery tower of Mordath's castle. They were rescued by Neven. The second time it was the dragon girl Shiara who took them away when they were wounded and outnumbered by Mordath's trolls, also near the castle. The third time was in Ankhara were Gareth was killed and Arwyn was taken prisoner by the trolls. It was the birdwoman Tiye who saved her there.

Three hundred years ago the evil Lord Mordath concurred the five land of the world Quin. 15.000 creatures who form his army of trolls rule the world and everybody else is a slave. There's no mercy, no hope. No chance of making deals. Mordath has one goal and in order to keep that goal he will never show a moment of weakness. But one mysterious archer named Ayden stands up against him and in the end defeats Mordath with an arrow powered by magic. Modath dies. Ayden pulls out the arrow, breaks it in five pieces "and the five fragments scattered to the five lands. These shall be your tools to rouse me, they are the five lands temselves. Separately they are mere pieces but joined in a single  purpose they can accomplish much".
But where good can use magic, so can evil. So now, three hundred years later, Mordath is taken from the depths of death and brought back into the land of the living. More powerful en deadly than before, more invulnerable than ever.
