Asverse was born on earth in a far future. As the champion of her region, which probably was situated somewhere near what is nowadays called the West Indies, she was the one person who was destined to be part of a team of seven champion from all over the world, to go to the desert of bones, to fight and to conquer or perhaps to die in the Palace of Death. The palace was situated somewhere on the dried out bottom of the Caribbean Sea. Historians later found out that The Palace of Death in fact was no more that a highly sophisticated stranded starship from another world, but in the years of Asverze is was believed to be a palace from which the world could be ruled if one could conquer it and learn from its secrets. The contest was held each year, but the secrets of the palace were many and each secret was very well protected. For many many year all champion died before reaching the final secret. Asverze however was, with a very small team of remaining champions, the very first human to accomplish the task. One of the other members of the team, of the lucky champions who survived the ordeal, was a man called Storm, the man of the woman Roodhaar. This Storm was forced in to joining the champions in order to save his lady Roodhaar from a terrible death.
When they had conquered the Palace of Death and were rewarded with powerful machines and knowledge, one could assume the bad times were over. But, as we all know, mankind isn't the noblest kind of animals and instead of being treated as heroes when they got back, they were betrayed and the woman Roodhaar was sentenced to death. Asverse, who had become a good friend of Storm, the man of Roodhaar, became engulfed with rage, took one of the new found secrets and kamikazed herself in to the Palace of Death. She destroyed it, as she destroyed herself. In vain however, because the lady Roodhaar didn't die and was rescued even before Asverze gave her life
