The year 2080. Axa lives in a city which is completely sealed off from the outside world. Axa rebels, tears off her uniform and leaves the city. She's almost naked then and she will be so throughout the series. The world she enters is a wilderness inhabited with enormous spiders, mutated people and all sorts of terror.
