Blade

Her ancestors lived on the high plateaus of Anamite, in Vietnam. The were Christians. The have fought against the Japanese, the Vietnamese, the Khmers, the Chinese... The had a tough life. In 1975 the Revolutionary North-Vietnamese army destroyed all their villages and murdered the people who lived there. The ones who survived fled up the mountains to even more isolated villages and kept fighting. Twenty years later  a group of 400 exhausted warriors handed themselves over to the UNO-soldiers. Among them was a young woman who gave birth to a girl in a refugee-camp in 2003. That girl was Blade. The violence and alertness that was in the history of her people had past on to the young Blade and she went to Euro-Lopa, the former axis London-Paris. That whole area was now one gigantic agglomeration of buildings, highways, railways. A megalopolis with 500 million people, a very sophisticated latest generation of internet, suitable to be accessed by the mind and, of course,  countless secret and lethal and ruthless agencies hunting down people who form a threat to... well, who form a threat. And Blade became a ronin. A killer or protector, a personal insurance.
The scans below are pictures of her assignment as a ronin of Tim Page. She got that contract from a man named Voto who also gave Tim Page a contract to steal some micro chips.
