Bob went to the secondary modern school, has an interest in old time jazz, guns and antiques.
At the time a radical change would take place in her life Bob ran an little private detective office. And she perfectly fit the role of impulsive, long legged private detective.
One day she was hired to find two missing persons, Caren van der Plas and Tom van Santen. Bob finds the spot where the car of the two young people had hit a tree in a forest, somewhere in the eastern part of Holland. Nearby is a gate, with the sign Zodiak on it. Bob enters and soon is lost in a strange world, occupied with prehistoric animals and plants. She can't find the way out anymore but is told that another gate can be found in the city Whinea. There she finds out this Zodiak world is full of intrigues and people eager to gain power. She also finds out the woman she is searching for is taken in captivity on this world too. So her real search for Caren starts here and Bob has to face a million perils and even has to go through death and relive her past.
