| Edith
Hardy ran a little detective office in Parish in the nineteen fifties,
the era in
which most detective smoked cigarettes. She had been married to a
stockbroker . She had started the office after her
divorce. Everything she kept from her former life, was an old car. Edith
Hardy did mainly small cases, missing persons but occasionally her office
caught a big fish. The most notorious
case was the story about the missing chemist who worked on a verry important antibiotic. From a small incident this became a major case, at
the start of the cold war, which involved illustrious organizations like
the KGB. This case would prove to have much delicate details and important
political implications. Edith hardy, a woman in the detective worlds of the Mike Hammers and the Sam Spades |
