| Jennifer Walters was a cousin of Robert Bruce Banner, better known as the Incredible Hulk. Her father was William Morris and her mother, who died long ago, was Elaine. Jennifer and Bruce were the best of friends, even when they grew up. Jennifer as an attorney in Los Angeles, Bruce as a nuclear physicist who during the testing of a gamma bomb received an overdose of gamma radiation and became the Hulk. The two cousins were together when Jennifer was shot in the back. Bruce saved her from a vital second shot by the murderers, but in order to keep her alive until the medics arrived he had to give her a transfusion with his own blood. His own gamma polluted and mutated blood. And so she became a woman who, when getting into a rage, would transform in a big 300 pound green monster: She-Hulk. Tall, indestructible, able to lift nearly a hundred tons. In the beginning she would, after some time when rage subdued, transform back into her human form but over the years she lost this ability and stayed tall and green. She fought bad guys, has been a member of the Fantastic Four and The Avengers and also had an encounter with Katrina van Horn. | |||
