Koudelka
Lassant was born in Abergynolwyn, Wales, in 1879. She is a psychic.
A witch if you will. She was cast out of her home at the age of nine because she was thought to be cursed.
She went to London and lived on the street for several years. In
1898, Koudelka is 19 now, she hears the call
of the deceased Elaine Heyworth. Elaine needed Koudelka's help, because she'd been murdered, her husband Patrick had gone insane with grief and killed two hundred people, which he needed for a gruesome little
experiment with the aim of resurrecting his dead wife. So Koudelka
takes off for the Nemeton Monastery in Wales. A young man named Edward Plunkett pays a visit to the monastery, prompted by rumors that the place is filled with treasures and women. At the same time a priest named James O'Flaherty is sent by the Vatican to investigate the place.
Koudelka, James and Edward eventually meet and explore the dark, mysterious monastery that has now turned into a haunted house.
