Luann lives in the jungle world of Tangakar. It's a rough world with a struggle for power amongst leaders. And the jungle is rough too. And there are the vraatkevers (eatbugs, piranha bugs?) who can strip a big animal clean to the bone in minutes. Luann has some controlling powers over them.
