Rexanne

There is not much known about this tempered warrior. Through Aria we know that Rexanne once was given an amulet, a charm made of the whiskers of a lynx. But instead of bringing her luck she got a miscarriage. Later she gave birth to a son, but eventually the boy and his father were killed when their house burnt down. Since then she became an intolerable woman. But she had the reputation of having the best fighting men around, including an unnamed Amazon.
She once escorted Aria on her trip to Arnolia through the swamps and the quicksand. Aria was to give birth in Arnolia. From the start the two women couldn't get along and more than once they were on the brink of splitting. But for various reasons Rexanne stayed on her job. Their group became under attack during the nighttime and all men were killed. The next night Rexanna and her unnamed Amazon were killed too. At least, that was what the two only survivors, Aria and a man called Arobate, thought and they left the bodies, covered with blankets.
But Rexanne was not dead, the arrow hadn't reached her heart. She was found by a monk who nursed her. When back on her feet Rexanne she hurried after Aria and Arobate, the man she had recognized to be her attacker. She eventually saved Aria and later she saved the baby, Sacham, too. She stayed with Aria for a while, then took off.
