Roodhaar

<<<  Index  >>>

Roodhaar is a descendant from a future human race. Generations before her time of life a devastating environmental disaster took place, triggered by the collapse of a gigantic barrage, the biggest flood control dam ever build. An eternal drought was the result and the water of the oceans took refuge in underground holes and vanished from the earth surface. Most sea life became extinct of course, but the strong and adaptive Aquarals crept out of the vanishing waters and took control of the land, killing the humans or enslaving them. Roodhaar was one of their victims.
When she was a young woman on the run for the Aquaral she met her first time traveler. A man from the past called commander Greg. When she is enslaved and labors for the Aquarals Greg rescues her and together they fight their way out and in the end manage to defeat the Aquarals and end their tyranny. Here the paths of Roodhaar and Greg go in different directions and they would not see each other again.
With the Aquarals defeated mankind should have been able to regain control over the world again, but Roodhaar soon found out the Aquarals weren't the only enemies of mankind and certainly not the most dangerous ones. When in prison again one time, she met her second time traveler.  Together with this man Storm, again a man from a far away past, they fought this enemy from outer space, the Azurians. And, of course, besides these alien invaders, they also had to fight against all horrors and treachery and treason mankind had spread over the world. A million years had not changed the fact that the worst enemy of mankind was mankind itself.  Roodhaar would stay with the man Storm for the rest of her life. They made several attempts to return to the world and time of Storm. But time traveling is a risky business and the equipment that had to serve as a time machine was often outdated or from a strange and unreliable technology and all these attempts failed.
Another important heroine in these years on this world was lady Asverze, for a short while a companion of Storm. The two women never met however
