Samus Aran

Somewhere in history the planets in the galaxy united and formed a Galactic Federation. Civilizations met, cultures mixed, traders spread prosperity throughout the galaxies. And so pirates appeared to take their share of the profit and a Galactic Federation Police Force was formed. The top guns of that force were the so called Space Hunters; extremely well trained, extremely well armed, almost anonymous and very mysterious. They are all in the service of the Galactic Federation Police but the long lonely years spent in space and constant danger turned many Hunters in to solitary space bounty hunters who lived in space to kill or capture Space Pirates and cash in the bonus.
Samus Aran was such a Space Hunter. As all secret agents we know little about her. It's from the reports that were published about her actions and from the news agencies that we can conclude Samus had a very successful career and must have been one of the best in her trade. Some highlights in her career were an encounter with the Metroid organism on the planet Zebes (Metroid report 1986), and in the caverns on SR388 (Metroid II: return of Samus report, 1991), the attack on Space Academy by the Space Pirates (report Super Metroid 1994), the pursuing of space pirates who led her to the derelict space pirate frigat in orbit by Tallon IV (Metroid Prime report 2002) and finally her adventure near a damaged space station orbiting SR388 where she was infected by the deadly XXX parasite (report Metroid Fusion 2002)
