Susan Storm was born and grew up in Glenville, Long Island, New York. She is blond, has blue eyes, weight about 54 kilogram and is about 1 meter 67 cm tall. She has a younger brother Johnny. Trying to become an actress she went to California. There she met Reed Richard, a scientist she knew since she was twelve until their lives took different directions.
Reed was working on a project that involved the launch of a spectacular new starship. On her first test flight he was on board, as was his fiancée
Susan Storm, her brother Johnny Storm and the pilot, Ben Grim. They launched the ship without authorization of the men in charge of the project. But soon after take off the ship was hit hard by cosmic radiation and the had to land. They then soon found out the radiation had mutated their bodies and gifted them with unusual powers. They decided to use their power for the good cause and called themselves the Fantastic Four.
The effect of the cosmic rays on Susan was that she could make herself as well as other objects invisible. Hence her alias Invisible Girl and later Invisible Woman. She also was capable of creating strong invisible force fields which she could use as protective shield and to manipulate objects as well as to defend herself.
The group fought many battles against the heaviest of adversaries. And these where not just the common heavy duty bank robbers and kings of organized crime, these super enemies were capable of destroying all of mankind or the whole world.
Susan
married Reed Richards and they had a son, Franklin Benjamin Richards.
In order to raise their son in the best possible way Susan Storm Richards and Reed tried to dismantle the group, but somehow that didn´t seem possible.

Susan Storm Richards is related to Mary Elizabeth Alvarez, member of the Fantastic Force. She lives in the same universe as Allison Blaire and Jennifer Walters, alias She Hulk.
