They
are twins. Two girls from India (or Palestina), Uma
and Mira. When they are young the are
adopted by a couple who are are big name in diamonds in Paris. But they
are very rigidly and stern and especially Mira
couldn't live by all the rules and restrictions and discipline in the
house. She went bad, went out stealing and in the end, when she was
fourteen, ran away and never returned. Uma
loved her sister and now that she was gone she even started idolizing her.
But Mira never even dropped a note to her
sister. This loss of her twin sister resulted in Uma
feeling miserable and useless. She drowns her feelings and memories in
alcohol and she even attempted several time to commit suicide.
Twelve years after Mira left, Uma
works at a Justice department at Forensics, Identifications. She recreates
faces and heads from bare skulls and jaws. One day she recreates the face
of her long lost sister Mira. The body was
burnt and a black diamond was found between her jaws. Mira
one way or the other never really had escaped the diamond business.
There's more to this story, but for that we'll have to wait for the next
album
