Her
mother died when she gave birth of Vera and
her twin brother Kolya. The Gypsy familie lived in the village Ataki, in
Moldavië. The father, Jakob Mikaïlov, went to Paris with the little Vera.
Her brother was left behind in Ataki. Jacob wanted to escape the poverty
he and his family had known and became succesfull violinist, who
even made a good selling record. But fame and drinks asked for their share
and when his second record didn't make it, Jacob went down hill. Vera
went to school, learnt to play the accordion and started a career by
the Red Cross where she was sent all over the world to aid people in poor
countries who were in need of help. Until then she didn't know she had a
twin brother.
When her father died she met old relatives and soon she learned of the existence
Kolya. Vera obvious tried to find the lost
brother and succeeded, only to find out he is a big name in organized
crime, a modern pirate. |
