A game that could have been much better than it is. Everything in it is mediocre in my opinion. No great graphics, no great environment, no great fighting abilities, no great animation... Now all these shortcomings don't have to kill a game. But there is also some unbalance in game play. It's like the designers couldn't decide what audience the game should be made for. Kids or more mature Xena fans. You can't be tactical in this game. Opponents suddenly ran up to you when triggered by a distance. You can't sneak up to them.
Xena fans will miss Gabrielle. She's on the game, but not much. I think it's impossible to make such a game with two main characters at once on screen for the old PlayStation.
The game has some enjoyable moments though. I've played much worse games.
